Brassicas

in progress updating this page

I see a lot of brassicas self-seeding in the urban environment. I find identifying them challenging. My first step is always documenting the plants, some I can identify, some I can't - yet but I am determined to.

Rocket but not sure which specifically (wall rocket? perennial wall rocket?), self-seeded from another large patch nearby which is bare at the moment but maybe had been sprayed with weedkiller (prevalent throughout Camden).

Unknowns

I saw this in Castlehaven Park, August 2019.

This was in my back garden, possibly from birdseed, June 2019.

This is growing next door and I see it over the wall between our gardens but not close enough to examine as closely as I'd like. It comes back every spring and covers the garden. I must pick a sample next year. May 2019
