I last observed the London rocket on March 8th 2026 when there was just 1 starting to bloom. Yesterday there were many plants blooming. I can't get over how it's been allowed to grow without being mown down. I am so happy being able to observe it. Today (the 29th) the poppies I went to look at locally in Edgware had been removed - my usual experience - plants being mown down, removed, sprayed with weedkiller. So the London rocket being allowed to grow is amazing.
also on Tower Hill is coltsfoot I observed each spring
